DuMOL's 2023 Chloe Chardonnay marks the 24th vintage of one of the Russian River Valley's most celebrated white wines — a generous, fruit-forward expression led by ripe apricot and peach rather than lean citrus. A blend of Flora-Marie Vineyard's orange marmalade richness from the warmer central Russian River hills and old vines from the top of Bressay Estate, the wine delivers deep oily texture and waxy honeyed fruit in equal measure. On the nose, white flowers, tangerine, white peach, and a hint of ocean spray. The palate is full-bodied and enveloping with apricot, lemon curd, and beeswax, finishing long and vibrant with an echo of nutmeg and anise. Drink through 2032.
